A little history…
It was in Syria, in the city of Aleppo, that the famous Aleppo soap was born, made from local products, more than 3,000 years ago.
It was the Crusaders who brought Aleppo soap to the West in the Middle Ages. It is the ancestor of Marseille soap and all
solid soaps today. Aleppo soap with Nigella oil has a very slow cooking time. Its maturing lasts a minimum of 9 months.
