The Muscat grape is a fruit native to Central Europe. Used in Egypt in antiquity, this sweet fruit was discovered in France in 600 BC thanks to its importation through the historic port of Marseille. The Romans, during their expansion, developed this fruit for making wine. Nowadays, the Muscat grape is also a fruit eaten for dessert and used for its subtle and sweet flavor.
