How to make your own laundry detergent with shavings?Hand washingDilute 30g of shavings in 1 liter of very hot water. Shake well then add 1 liter of additional hot water. For woolens, use cold water.Machine washingWith our new “palm oil free” shaving formula, we advise you to proceed as follows to make your detergent:• Put a small handful or 30g of shavings at the bottom of your detergent container• Pour very hot water over the shavings to melt them (start with 1/2 liter)• Shake well• Pour another 1/2 liter of very hot water to reach 1L of detergent• Shake well• Your detergent is ready!A phase shift may occur in the detergent, due to its natural formula. All you need to do is shake the bottle vigorously to mix well again.**Practical adviceAdd a glass of white vinegar to the fabric softener compartment (softens and removes scale). To perfume your laundry, add a few drops of essential oils (lavender, tea tree, citrus, etc.).For perfectly white laundry, add a tablespoon of baking soda or a small handful of soda crystals. If you want to perfume your laundry with a few drops of essential oils, wait until it has cooled.

Composition
100% vegetable oils (Oleic sunflower oil, copra oil)No coloring, no perfume, no preservativeNo chemical additivesNo palm oilSoap 30% and more (sodium sunflowerseedate, Sodium cocoate)Also contains: Aqua, Glycerin, Sodium chloride, Sodium hydroxide.Net weight when packaged: 5 kgReusable cotton bagThe glycerin contained in our Marseille soaps is not added, it is the one naturally contained in the vegetable oil. After 10 days of cooking and numerous rinses, only a tiny part remains. Authentic Marseille soap, made using the traditional process, is in fact a non-glycerin soap. The ingredient “glycerin” is nevertheless mentioned in the list of ingredients of our soaps, because traces of it remain. The new cosmetic regulations require that all ingredients, even trace amounts, be indicated in the list of ingredients.
