Marseille soap, a natural product
For over 120 years and four generations, the Marius Fabre soap factory has been making its Marseille soap exclusively from rigorously selected vegetable oils. It contains no dyes or synthetic additives. It is not made from petroleum derivatives or animal fats like the majority of commercial soaps and shower gels.
Gentle on the skin, natural, and effective
At Marius Fabre, the traditional Marseille soap-making process guarantees an “Extra Pure” soap, free of all impurities. It cares for all skin types, especially the most sensitive (babies, allergy-prone skin, etc.). Olive oil
Composition
Olive oil, Coconut oil. No colorants, no fragrance, no preservatives. No chemical additives. Guaranteed palm oil free. Soap 30% or more (Sodium Olivate, Sodium Cocoate). Also contains: Aqua, Glycerin, Sodium chloride, Sodium hydroxide. The glycerin in our Marseille soaps is not added glycerin, unlike so-called “glycerin” soaps. It is, in fact, the glycerin naturally present in the vegetable oil. After 10 days of cooking and numerous rinses, only a tiny amount remains. The ingredient “glycerin” is nevertheless listed in the ingredients of our soaps because traces remain. New cosmetic regulations require that all ingredients, even in trace amounts, be listed in the ingredients.
