A combination of sodium bicarbonate and sodium carbonate (soda ash), sesquicarbonate is a multi-use, economical and effective household product. It combines the abrasive power of bicarbonate and the degreasing power of soda crystals. It is also widely used as a water softener in areas with hard water. Added to laundry, it increases the effectiveness of detergent or soap. It is a substitute for borax, a product banned for its dangerousness. Use
To remove stubborn stains of grease, tobacco, fingers on doors, hoods, walls, dissolve 5g of sesquicarbonate in ½ L of water. Use this solution to clean your surface then rinse with clean water.
