Also called solid hydrogen peroxide, sodium percarbonate, with the formula 2Na2CO3·3H2O2, is made from sodium carbonate (soda crystals) combined with hydrogen peroxide (also known as oxygenated water).
The components of these products come from common natural raw materials (salt, water, chalk). Once dissolved in water, it decomposes into:
– sodium carbonate or soda crystals, a surfactant.
– hydrogen peroxide, an oxygen-based bleaching agent.
This product contains neither chlorine nor phosphates, which are so harmful to our rivers, and is non-bioaccumulative.
An excellent whitening agent used in many laundry detergents on the market, percarbonate releases oxygen and acts as a stain remover to quickly and completely dissolve all kinds of stubborn stains such as tea, coffee, red wine, grass, fruit, perspiration, or even blood.
Percarbonate is ideal for naturally preserving the whiteness of your laundry, even after numerous washes, as it prevents the graying caused by limescale.
