What you need
There are several tricks to remove stains from your clothes, including simply rubbing with Marseille soap on your clothes, but what about your floors? Fortunately for us, Terre de Sommière is ideal for stains on textiles as well as on other surfaces. Here are some tips for removing stains in your home:
For oil stains on the floor
All you have to do is remove the excess grease left by the oil using a paper towel or a blotter. Then sprinkle the Terre de Sommière generously on the stain, without rubbing. Leave to act for 2 to 3 hours minimum. Gently rub the powder when it is well soaked in the oil stain then vacuum or sweep. If the stain persists, you can repeat these steps.
For oil stains on granite or marble
Do the same process as for an oil stain mentioned above. Given the porous nature of granite and marble, the stain may be stubborn. If the stain persists, you can make a paste based on Terre de Sommière and turpentine. It is enough to combine the two ingredients in such a way as to make a paste so that the substance permeates the pores of the stone. Apply the paste with a brush and let it act in 12 and 24 hours. Inhale to finish.
For oil paint stains
Simply sprinkle the Terre de Sommière directly on the fresh stain. Wait a few hours, until the powder has absorbed the stain and made it disappear. Remove the powder. If the stain persists, you can make the paste based on Terre de Sommières and turpentine oil and follow the same procedure as for stains on marble or granite.
