Use
For home maintenance: Marseille soap as an effective stain remover: wet and rub the stain with a block of moistened soap. Distribute the foam on the garment, leave for 10 minutes and rinse with clear water. Redo the operation which is not completely detached. Put in the washing machine afterwards. Marseille soap as detergent: grate your block of soap. Dilute a small handful of the chips obtained (20g) in 1L of hot water. Shake and leave for 24 hours. Stir again and add 1L of cold water. With an electric hand mixer, it gives a very good result. This is when you can add a few drops of essential oil of your choice. (lavender, citrus, lemon…) Your ecological detergent is ready to use! Shake well before each use. It can turn a little into a paste when it is at rest. But that’s normal. Add water as needed and stir well. Voila! Marseille soap for delicate clothes: Grate a little Marseille soap in lukewarm to hot water to dissolve it in order to make your water soapy. It is a vegetable base so it is less diluted in cold water. Then soak the delicate laundry and rinse with clean water afterwards or put in the washing machine.
